DLF Limited, originally founded as Delhi Land & Finance on July 4, 1946, by Chaudhary Raghvendra Singh, is one of India’s most prominent real estate developers with a legacy of over seven decades. The company began by building residential colonies in Delhi for families displaced after Partition, completing its first project, Krishna Nagar, in 1949. It later developed 22 major colonies, including Model Town and Greater Kailash.
